Rebel Road was "built by community" in order to show support for Downtown Muskegon. Consisting of breweries, restaurants, bars, a performance arts center, an arena, small shops, a gallery, hotels and other businesses, Downtown Muskegon is the place to be and a great place to throw a party. All of these businesses have something unique to contribute to Rebel Road. ​Five years later and we're still going strong! ​Like Downtown Muskegon, Rebel Road has seen a lot of changes in the past five years. But some things have remained the same: Muskegon's Rebel Road is still Michigan's best biker bash, and everyone who visits is doing their part to fight child abuse. The Child Abuse Council Of Muskegon County plays a huge role in the planning and execution of Rebel Road. All of the proceeds from the CAC Beverage Tents scattered in Downtown Muskegon go to the Child Abuse Council of Muskegon County to support our local kids . Muskegon has a rich motorcycle history. It is home to the Muskegon Motorcycle Club (MMC). Founded in 1920, the MMC is older than the American Motorcycle Association. The MMC established what would become the first professional hill climb in the United States in 1923. The Muskegon Motorcycle Club still hosts the National Hill Climb Competition held at Mt. Garfield every other August on even-numbered years.

A free outdoor lunch-time concert series, Fridays by the Fountain on the Jon R. Hunt Plaza is a summertime tradition in downtown South Bend! Each summer between the months of June and August, the concert series runs every Friday and features live entertainment from local Blues, Jazz, Rock, Folk, and Country bands. The concerts are free and run from 11:45am – 1:15pm.Food vendors are available and they offer a variety of lunchtime favorites including pizza, sandwiches, salads and smoothies, or you may choose to bring your own! Tables are set in and around the plaza to give concertgoers a space to eat – or bring a blanket and relax on the lawn. Where is Fridays by the Fountain occurring? Fridays by the Fountain happens in front of the Morris Performing Arts Center at Jon R. Hunt plaza, located at 211 N Michigan Street, South Bend, IN 46601. When is Fridays by the Fountain? Welcome to the 27th Annual Firefighters Blues Fest! The Firefighters Blues Festival is in its 27th year and we have an excellent line-up for your enjoyment. As usual there will be great fun, food, drinks and of course great music! Kamm Island Park, Mishawaka, provides a perfect family-friendly venue for the Festival so bring a chair, sit back, and enjoy the music, the food and the excellent surroundings. No coolers please! Ticket prices the day of the show are $15 per person. Gates open at noon and the music starts at 1:00pm. We would like to thank all of the volunteers who make this event possible including the dedicated efforts of the South Bend Firefighters. We also wish to express our gratitude to all of our sponsors. All of this year's proceeds will to go to the Hoosier Burn Camp and the Survive Alive House. The Festival The South Bend Firefighters Blues Festival was conceived in 1999 as a way to raise funds to create a fire safety house for the South Bend community. The first festival had an attendance of 750 people. Since that time the festival has attracted such legendary blues performers as Bernard Allison, Chicago Rhythm and Blues Kings, Guitar Shorty and Wayne Baker Brooks and the attendance has grown to over 7,500. Over the years it has raised funds not only for the Survive Alive House and Hoosier Burn Camp but also for GPS units for Memorial Hospital's pediatric transports, Memorial Hospital's Pediatric Unit, the Firefighter's Memorial at Sietz Park and the Children's Dream Fund. Originally at the South Bend Regional Airport's Corporate Wings, the festival moved to the Crumstown Conservation Club in 2008 and to Kamm Island Park in 2018. The festival provides a venue for local artists in addition to its headliners. The Local 362 All Stars performs regularly at the festival as well as Michiana's own Elwood Splinters Blues Band, featuring Ole Harv, the host of the Blues Review on WVPE.

Resurrection Blues Band returns to the Mighty Slippery Noodle for one night on the front stage for an evening of Blues Rock. The Slippery Noodle Inn in Indianapolis is Indiana's oldest continuously operating bar, established in 1850, known for its rich history as a roadhouse, Underground Railroad stop, and brothel, and is now a famous live blues music venue with a restaurant serving comfort food like burgers, wings, and nachos. It's a historic landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places, famous for its live music on two stages, historic decor, and hearty food, though some find the food quality inconsistent.
