STONE LIONS x 51st Avenue x DVNTS
Central Coast outfit Stone Lions return to Sydney to deliver their pop-punk anthems for a headline show at Oxford Art Factory’s - Gallery Room, off the back of their blistering new single “Bite Your Tongue”— featuring Dani Winter-Bates of UK metalcore giants Bury Tomorrow, a highly energetic anthem tackling the toxic gatekeeping that plagues music scenes worldwide, It’s a bold middle finger to elitism and negativity in the scene. Produced by Craig Wilkinson (RedHook), mixed by James Paul Wisner (Hot Milk, Stand Atlantic), and mastered by Grant Berry (All Time Low, Yours Truly). “Bite Your Tongue” is for anyone who’s ever felt like they don’t belong—especially in a scene that’s meant to be inclusive. We’ve all seen it: the same misfits who once craved acceptance become the gatekeepers, tearing others down. It’s frustrating, it’s toxic, and it’s exactly what we’re calling out in this track. The track has marked a bold new era for the band. Known for their highly-energetic live shows and emotionally charged anthems, Stone Lions blend melodic hooks, emo grit, and punk urgency into a sound that’s earned them growing attention on Triple J, Pilerats, Wall of Sound, and beyond. They’ll be joined by Sydney’s own hyper-modern, pop-rock force- 51st Avenue & Central Coast mosh-starters – DVNTS.
